WELCOME to the Greater Atlanta Rose Society website!  Thank you for taking the time to view our site.
Our members share a common goal - the enjoyment of roses and spreading that enjoyment to other gardeners. We accomplish this education and promotion through our monthly meetings, special events, rose show, garden tours, newsletter and Consulting Rosarian program.

FEATURED SPEAKER FOR   FEBRUARY MEETING!

Landscape Architect BROOKS GARCIA will be speaking on “Gardening in Small Spaces” at the February 21, 2012 Greater Atlanta Rose Society (“GARS”) meeting to be held at the Atlanta Botanical Garden at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.  Brooks has been a gardener for all of his life, over 35 years, and is a native of Atlanta. After receiving a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree, he studied classical garden design in Europe.  Brooks is the principal designer at the Fine Gardens firm, established in 1989, that specializes in custom residential gardens.

Brooks’ personal garden as well as those of several clients have appeared in local and national print publications including Veranda, Atlanta Magazine, and Better Homes and Gardens, and his garden has been featured on  HGTV’s A Gardener’s Diary”. He is the designer of GARS member Anna Davis’ beautiful garden showcased during the American Rose Society 2010 Fall Convention and Rose Show. Brooks has received many awards, including Best of Show, at flower and garden competitions across the United States and abroad.
